FAQ

  • The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. It is also sometimes referred to as personal coaching.

Coaching helps clients achieve their goals through powerful conversations that are intended to inspire new thinking, improve performance, create focus and directional clarity, support the achievement of goals, and enhance the quality of life.

  • With leaders, our objective is to focus on leveraging your strengths, uncovering roadblocks, and targeting the areas you are most interested in addressing to help you reach your goals more effectively.

Our clients also benefit from learning and implementing best practices, as well as exploring what’s working (or not) for the many other leaders we coach.

As always, confidentiality is paramount, and we are careful not to share details that can identify a leader, organization, or particular situation.

  • You have ambitions, goals, concerns, and challenges that are similar to those that many others face in leadership. Coaching can be the catalyst to shift the trajectory of your life, allowing you to experience change, improved quality of life, and career direction in new and innovative ways.

  • What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions. We coach within the ICF Code of Ethics - International Coaching Federation. We fully understand the value of your trust, and we take every precaution to safeguard it.

  • We meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly. We have found that these frequencies yield the greatest returns in terms of change.

  • The normal time for a session is 60 to 90 minutes.

  • In order to make coaching as convenient as possible for you, we offer several options.

Coaching services can be conducted in person at either our Lebanon, PA office or at an agreed-upon location. We also offer virtual sessions via Zoom/WhatsApp video conferencing or over the phone.

  • During our session, I, as your coach, will be fully attentive to what you say and how you say it as well as what you omit. I will reflect back on what I hear, so you can identify the truth in what you say. You are the expert in what you are hoping to achieve and striving for in your life.

As a coach, I am an expert in techniques to aid you in reaching the ideal you have set out for yourself. I will not tell you what to do but will listen, advocate, and ask powerful questions. This collaboration provides a safe and confidential environment of support and accountability that increases your alignment with the action steps needed for success.

  • You may check-in any time to share breakthroughs, successes, insights, or challenges by email, text, or phone as agreed.

If you would like, you can take a few minutes to complete and forward a brief pre-session assessment to identify challenges, opportunities, and the focus for the upcoming session.

  • You may choose to terminate work at any time, although it is helpful for your coach to have a week’s notice to prepare a final session that focuses on review and closure. Ultimately, that decision is yours.
